SafeNexus Fleet — privacy policy
SafeNexus Fleet is a fleet safety and inspection system that your employer (the organisation) runs for its vehicles, plant and drivers. The organisation is the responsible party for the personal information in it under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA); SafeNexus (Pty) Ltd operates the software on the organisation's instructions. This page explains what the app collects and why.
What the app collects

What the app does not do
- No advertising, no analytics SDKs, no sale or sharing of personal information with third parties.
- No contacts, messages, call logs or files other than the photographs you choose.
- No background location.
Offline use
Sheets captured without signal are kept on the phone until it reconnects and are then uploaded and removed from the device. Signing out clears the local queue and tokens.
Retention and your rights
Inspection records are kept for as long as your organisation's safety and legal obligations require (typically the period set by the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations). To access, correct or delete your personal information, contact your organisation's safety officer or information officer; SafeNexus (Pty) Ltd acts on the organisation's instruction. Security
Data travels over HTTPS. Each organisation's data is isolated on the server (row-level security), sign-in is through your organisation's identity provider, and evidence links are signed and expire.
Changes
Updates to this policy are published at this address with a new date.
